Step 1 – Open UC Browser on PC or Mobile device.

Step 2 – In UC Browser, go to Downloads section and tap on the file for which the download link is broken or expired to get more information about the file. Next, you will see the ‘Download page link’. Copy that download link and paste it in the new tab.

Step 3 – Now your download will resume as normal, here you can also rename the file.

Step 4 – When the file gets 300 – 400 KB downloaded, pause the download and close UC browser.

Step 5 – Now open the ‘File Manager’ on your device and go to UCDownloads folder. Here you will see the broken/incomplete downloaded file (which was not resuming) and the file with .dltemp extension. Copy these two files in a separate folder for backup.

Step 6 – Now copy the name of the new file (which you recently started downloading and paused in step -4) and then delete this file. Next, rename the previous broken downloaded file with the name of the file you just deleted. And repeat the same for the file with ‘.dltemp’ extension.

Step 7 – Open the UC Browser and resume the download which you paused earlier.

Step 8 – That’s all. Download will resume from where the old file got stuck.
